Most people are through the first three in an evening.

Download and create your account
Install Date Africa Diamonds from Google Play, confirm you are 18 or over, and set up your account.
Build a profile worth answering
Add photos that look like you, say what you are looking for, and share the heritage and life context that matters.
Complete verification
Verification signals to other members that you are a real person showing up in good faith.
Discover and Spark
Explore people whose intentions line up with yours. A Spark is quiet; a Golden Spark opens a match instantly and tells them it meant something.
Match and message
When a Spark is returned — or a Golden Spark is sent — a match opens a private chat. Match and message notifications keep you in the loop.
Meet with care
When you are ready to meet, follow the safety guidelines: video call first, meet in public, tell someone where you are going.

What to expect

You will see fewer people
That is deliberate. Discovery is built around people whose intentions match yours, which means a shorter list and better odds.
Conversations are meant to leave the app
The goal is a video call, then a meeting. We are not trying to keep you here.
You can stop at any point
Block, unmatch or leave a conversation without explaining yourself. Nobody is owed your continued attention.

Step six, in detail

The step that matters most is the one that happens off the app. Take it seriously.

Video call before you meet. It is the single most effective check available to you, and a persistent excuse is an answer in itself.
Meet in a public place, in daylight, for the first few times.
Tell someone you trust where you are going, who with, and when you expect to be back. Share your live location if you can.
Arrange your own transport, both ways, and keep control of it.
Never send money to someone you have met online. Not once, not for any reason.
If you feel uncomfortable, leave. You do not owe anyone an explanation or a polite exit.
